Im not on mallcrawlin much, but I am going this year! So far the only thing that I have left to do is wire up a couple light switches since ricochet has made me a custom set of headlights with pods in them. Other than that Ive got everything pretty much ready to go!
Cant wait to make it out for the first time!
Awesome!! See you there!!

Anyone see the forecast for next week?? 107* ... better go check my AC.
Don't scare me like that! I see 103 for Monday but mid 90's for GSW.

Glad I flushed my cooling system and put a/c back on the ZJ! Hopefully it won't be that hot though, I think low 90s is most likely. And certainly more tolerable. Although 107 still wouldn't be the hottest GSW.

I have been checking Weather Underground for about 2 weeks now and the trend that I have seen is they have shown upper 90s for the extended forecast, but as the day gets closer the forecasted temps are dropping 5 or 10 degrees.
We have endured 100s, but I would much prefer 90s
I don't know about 70's, that brought the rain last year and we know how that turned out!
Also, I am no making a big push to install my hood vents and fix the a/c.
70s with the guarantee of no rain would be fine
Jim has convinced me over the years that using the A/C is actually a bad thing because your body has to keep acclimating to the heat every time you get out. Even if we have A/C we do not use it
Well, after replacing the radiator (a story in itself), water pump & fan clutch, all hoses and the heater return tube, thermostat and housing and a new battery on the ZJ, I cranked it up to finish filling the coolant yesterday evening. Started feeling a mist, and found fresh coolant spewing out from the area at the top left of the water pump. Crap! Since I still had a new tire to mount, balance and then get it aligned, I decided to stop for now and just bring the WK2 again this year. This is supposed to fun and I'm on vacation, so I'm not going to stress out rushing to get this thing done by Monday.
Means my "to do" list before GSW just got a lot shorter, and I'll have time to cool off before tackling the ZJ again. Needless to say (but I will anyway), I'll be running the easy trails.
That sucks, 37's break stuff
