Glad I was able to help Ken! Hopefully the PS pump on the truck goes smoothly for you guys if you decide to mess with it.

Ron at Boulder driveline is turning my drivelines around in a day! He's the man! Need to bleed brakes, torque everything, dial angles, fab bumpstops, etc. couple of long nights left but if all goes to plan should be ready to roll Tuesday!

    Cool,

FYI when bleeding WJ Brakes you should be sure to go in order RR, LR, FR and finally FL. I like using a pump and have the pump higher than the caliper.

Still helps to have someone pump up the brake pedal while using the pump at the caliper. You also will not likely get the same flow of air bubbles when you start bleeding them as you might expect. I bled Kyle's rear calipers several times and then moved to the front. This is how I have had to do mine too. Works eventually.

I can think of much less complimentary images of a Brown Santa that UPS should worry about.

Can you bring them to the Slam?

If I did that, I'd have to bleed the system all over again...

They're spring loaded bleeder screws. Back it off, pump a bunch of times, tighten. Move to the next.

    Well Shit,

I was loading some stuff in the back and closed the hatch, what do I notice, my tags expired in April. So I manage to dig up my renewal card and it says emission test required. I barely have any spare time between now and Thursday AM. Wish me luck getting the test and the tags.

Friggen emission test bull shit is just that BULLSHIT.

We had almost the same thing with the ZJ, tags expired in March, never renewed them. Luckily no e-test for me. We got the tags renewed then pulled the gooseneck around and noticed those were expired too! D'oh! We pay close to $2,000 a year in tag fees, BS.

whew, I got it tested right when air care opened and it passed. Then squeezed the DMV visit between meetings and got the tags.

Emission tests are always interesting with modified vehicles, the guy while not being an ass was convinced my WJ had a 249 Tcase and I needed to get it done with AWD lane. I told him it was a 242 and then he said he is not comfortable with tests on rigs with tcase swaps as he had a problem. I told him it was the stock 242 tcase with 2wd capability. After all that he puts it on the 2wd rollers and it passed no issues. I will say these days the tire size is a big concern. The rule is no bigger than 34 in tires unless its a factory size and then they will do a pipe test on them. If larger than 34 and not stock to the vehicle they will not test it until you go smaller. My tires fit the rollers but were close. If I do not air them up to 45 psi they rub the outside guide rollers and the tech will not do the test. Seems best thing to do is plan on running through the remote truck sites a few times between 2 and 6 months every two years prior to your renewal. In my case I always forget the renewal dates.

    Anyway I'm In.

Great! I have to test with smaller tires on all four corners because it originally had a 247 T-case

John, I had the 249 stock but I just pulled the little bezel that showed 4 all time so they can't tell the difference. IIRC though it's not as easy on a WJ.
