It was moved back from that photo. It is 24" from the rear of the front crossmember to the rear of the rear. I reversed the claytons stiffeners so my upper mounts will project a little forward. If they must self clear a little, so be it.
Looking good brudda - sorry I forgot to call you back last month....been a bit busy with work.
Thanks Jim.
Trying to line up the next project while finishing this one.
I picked up a nodular 9" case on the cheap.....only 1 bearing cap.
Is it as simple as getting another or are they matched somehow?
never mind above. bad memory, just missing a bolt....
Also, even with the icky Denver weather on Sat. I managed to install and run the antenna wire for my shinny new CB radio. No more borrowing one.

Finished my rear crossmember and link mounts. Had to remove and modify the lower mounts on the rear axle so it's taking a little longer than I expected I should be done this weekend are

How much vertical separation do you have in the rear mounts?
4.75" at the frame side and 10" at the rear axle.
I was curious as well, as it doesn't look anywhere near 4-5" from the pictures. If those are your numbers you should be fine
I'm really liking that purty yellow paint job I did
Oops. Either the z turn or the car wash.

I do believe I just got lucky.
ARB for Dana 44 $150.00
Lets hope it works/fits
I will be calling ARB with the units S/N monday to verify aplication and P/N
It looks right to me and my HP44 shaft fit in it.
In the mean time I have to fix the design flaws in my front suspension before GSW. After 3 trails the bushings are trashed at the axle side on my lowers.
Lower control arm bushing after three trails in Moab. Good thing it went out and came back on a trailer. not to mention the broken drive shaft and yoke.

I would call that "expired". Let's hope the new mounts with better geometry, extend the next one's "life".
A little shave
And a little truss.
Finally some progress on the 9.

Looking Great.
So things are progressing. I am now rocking a 60 up front and am in the process of cleaning up the installation, stretching, and 3 linking it.

Any plans to reinforce that upper link mount frame side? And is there enough space between the unibody and the bracket for a nut or will you be going into the unibody?
I sleeved the frame so a 9X5/8 gr 8 bolt will go through from the outside. The mount itself is a combo of 1/4 and 3/8 thick material and will be boxed on the back side.
