btw, full hydro looks purrrrrtttyy as a kit.
Any reason you chose PSC over POS or Howe?
Don't use that aluminum hose end on anything pressurized.
Make sure your res is mounted forward of the pump. The old airbox location works well.
I chose the PSC kit because I do not really know much about the others.
Pat has the PSC kit and it has worked well for him so far. Only problem I noticed on this past trip was that the ram seems to have moved in the mounts from side to side. That could be because the allen head bolts have loosened up a bit. Thankfully the new design of the ram I have, has recesses in the ram so it should elminate side to side movement if by chance my bolts arent as tight as they should be.
PSC has a great kit at a great price. I priced out everything I needed by buying parts from different areas of the market, but it was pretty much the exact same cost at a much bigger hassle.
Having ONE box show up to my door with EVERYTHING I need is much more appealing to me than having 5 boxes show up at different times with different companies parts.(not saying PSC makes all their parts..)
I got this kit for the old September price of 1375 shipped instead of the current 1420 shipped because someone cancelled there order and I was able to snag it up at the old price.
Only thing this kit does not come with is the 3/4" bolts, nuts, and lock washers for the steering arms. A cooler does not come with the kit as well. I have the Derale cooler though, and it works well.
The aluminum hose ends go from the Low pressure end on the pump to the feed port on the reservior, and from the T port to the cooler. So they are all low pressure lines.
I was a bit skeptical about the push lock fittings at first, because we could never get Pat's to go all the way to the end of the fitting, resulting in a blown line on the trail. I got mine all the way on fairly easy. I still plan on running some hose clamps around the pushlock fittings for an extra security.
I had planned to mount the reservior forward of the pump after hearing Kris talk about his pumps lasting longer after doing that. Cam hits the nail on the head with his answer of why to mount it forward as well. That spot near the air box was a perfect spot anyway.
I think I might have to get an intake cone because I do not think I will have space for the air box anymore.
Pat's res. is mounted behind the pump and his pump hisses every now and then, but does not squeel, so we shall see if the pump location works better on mine.
I will be using AMSoil for the first run of the hydro as well.
Should get around to installing the hydro this weekend. I will keep this updated. I will probably end up doing a decently good writeup on installing it, even though obvious directions come with the kit.
I think it will be nice to have a detailed, picture filled writeup specifically for our zj's though.

my metal better not be rusty!
hahahaha
Worked on the hydro a bit. Wont post any pics from that because I am doing a writeup when I am all done.
I did receive a special package though
A write up will be coming for the mounts.
I think my steering is messed up
for the orbital mount, I was going to hole saw through the uni then mount tube to it.. but my hole saw broke. I decided to make something else. what do you think about this idea...
A plate would be going in the direction of the arrow as well for more support..
My new relays for my fan came in as well.

Check your toe. I think there's a thing on the tie rod where you can adjust it. Does it vibrate at high speeds? Does it has tie rods? Am you work for to make it straight and do things? You could do things for to make better steers and axle and you're wheels.

Figure I will throw some hydro pics on here to keep the thread up to date.
Ram mount, welds, potentially what it will look like.
That is 1/4" plate
This is going to take a while, I have crap coming up for the next two weekends so time to work on this will be minimum.. lame.
hahahahhaahhaha reptar to tyler!
ps, have fun taking that diff cover off with that setup

hope you've got some magic to make it back into a winch plate fag
Simple ram mount:
Two pics of the hydro install (the full writeup and complete set of all the pics will come after it is 100% done)
maxx you gotta update your p-bucket account or somethin, links are dead.
Meh, its cuz I post on here and pirate and my "free acount's" bandwidth was exceeded. I will use my other photobucket account for future uploads till the regular photos come back, or just host them via MC. I refuse to pay photobucket 25 a year!
Well fix your damn account!
Cause I'm looking at your 8.8 rebuild thread and wanted to see what all came in your master install kit.
Bearings, seals, ring gear bolts, shims, marking compound, gasket
You can send 25 dollars to my paypal account if you would like
little more sneak peaks
The last pic is my new intake and mini filter for the vacuum line that goes to the stock box
