With the lowers diconnected not much, maybe two inches. I have never plugged my info into the four link calculator. I cant really move the uppers much. They have ample clearing for the oil pan. I have rerouted the exhaust in front of the oil pan for clearnce issues...
Looks like I am going to make it to TDS afterall. I was able to complete the front today. And I cut the driverside doors.
Can we see a close up of the doors finished ? From afar they look good ! Lots of work, but good !
Great looking Jeep, love the doors
I just have the doors cut right now. I didn't have time to finish them before TDS. I plan on having them finished by EJS. I will get some progress pics on those once I get a little further along... Thanks for the compliments!
Here is the begining of the first door. This is a PITA and allot of tedious work. I still have a ton of work to do on this door. But it is a start. My goal is to get all four doors welded up and mounted back on the ZJ by EJS.... Underneath the 14 guage sheet are 3 supports which are welded between the sides of the door. These supports are made out of 1.5" x .5 or so box that I had laying in the garage.
I will flatten out these door contours later. Maybe...

Here are some more updated pics of the door. I have never done thin sheetmetal work like this before. Again the best I can do at the moment. I will need to add some bondo to fill a couple places. Over all I am happy with it, except for the slow progress. Damn, this is way f'ng time consuming!!!!
Those doors are coming out nice. I like the skid too, did you just build onto the stock cross member?
I used 6" x 2" x 1/4" box for the main part of th skid. The only thing I took off the stock crossmember was the bracket that the t-case mount bolts to.
u suck my friend with your fancy cross member and your fancy half doors bo ho
just playing it looks good man keep up the good work.
drunk post # who cares
lol...
Keep sipping on that hennessy and they will be sure to turn out pimp. what are you doing for a latch?
Door look great ! nice job !
Thanks for the compliments. I haven't figured out a latch yet, I am just going to be using the internal rods for now. There is an openeing on the inside of the door that you can reach in and pull the rod down to unlatch the door.
They are soft, but work well. If I had swaybars I would allot happier. I also need to install a small winch up front. It unloads on steep ass shit...
Is that a double triangulated 4 link rear?
SORRY GUYS, I can't post treads and this is the only way I know how to ask. So anyways, How big of a lift do I NEED TO RUN 35's? What do you guys recommend for the lift? PLEASE HELP.
Why hicjack someone else's thread?
