A disc brake conversion is just welding/bolting on the caliper brackets right?
Im still learning on major axle swaps... i don't consider a hp30 an axle swap at all and an 8.8 is cake to get under a zj.
my new 38's
what wheels? link?
I can see if I can find them online for you. They are 16.5x12. They were just some used wheels I had laying around. I cleaned them up and painted them. came out good and fit good. might do some DIY locks on them in the future
Better do some kind of beadlocks or a hummer wheel those thing will de-bead at 50 psi
yeah ive already noticed... lol
ill figure something out.. just want to get it driving right now
I like those wheels
its rolling...ish
Look its TOMMY's ZJ!

heres my bling brake job.
To do:
rear ds
sye
line lock/ebrake
plumb rear brake line
rear shock mounts
weld up 14b
finish passenger headlight/bumper
wheeling
What's the steering setup look like on the passenger side? Wondering why you didn't flip the tie-rod.
looks like this (pic from ballistics website)
One bead locked out of two is better than none out of two. 16.5 wheels are never ideal but they can be made to work. One of my buddies also had success with some roofing tar (Napa also sells a dedicated bead sealant) on his inner bead. Given it was on 15" wheels, but that stuff is semi-permanent.
just recenter some H1's and be done.
yeah i have already decided on h1's ... just gonna use these for now till funds allow, and no airing down for now.
oh well I just want to get this thing driving again
