Got sye orderd today finally.
Also built passager side headlight and bumper, and mounted rear shocks.
Its been forever. i cant wait
Lookin' good!
I really oughta update my build thread sometime....I guess after I finish the 9"
could be the angle, but it looks like your front tracbar is pulled over a little to the driver side
Brett, what picture are you looking at? I can barely see the track bar in any of those pictures...
the bottom picture, just looks like the body is pulled to the right side of the picture a bit
Oh gotcha....yes agreed. I was looking for something with the actual track bar itself
that look GREAT man!!!
Now get it out on the trail!!!
Nice work! I like how the headlights turned out.
Tore apart d44 yet again today and replaced the Inner seals and shaft u-joints.
U-joints were completly dry and siezing up
Hopefully i wont have to tear it down again for a while, what a pita.
Sye/DS will be here thursday
Nah its all center.. its toed out quite a bit tho.. still need to allign it before test run
Yeah im super happy with my angles, they are almost exact
IM TRYIN!
Thanks smookems.
Is it done yet??
Homebrew front driveshaft
Poser
Get the conversion u-joint tomarrow for the rear ds, 1310-1350.
ALMOST DONE!
Its ALIVE! Been driving it around, drives great!
Had some wandering issues but with some adjustments its driving like a dream on the highway. and thats with unbalanced TSL's.
Really not that tall as some of the pics make it look. In the pics the rear was 1.5-2" taller but Ive got it sitting level now.
Also got headlights all wired up.
Still to do before first trip:
Weld 14b (Wanted to get it driving before messing with driveline to eliminate and excessive noises)
Bump stops/ Limit straps (Need ASAP)
Reinstall skids
Pics still make it look like front axle is not centered but I swear it is! lol
yes. i sleaved it, welded the ends and plug welded it. eventually i would like to just retube the whole thing but this works for now.
thx man
Do you know who Chris Bassett is?
doesnt rig a bell off the top of head. He from tucson?
The headlights totally remind me of a commander here lmao
No from California. Old school name and rig. Yours and his are the same color, have the same stance and the same front fender trimming.
Coming to GSSW? http://www.mallcrawlin.com/forum//sh...ad.php?t=19821
