yikes! I don't think I have ever seen one split like that! search for the video of Kraqa's radiator or the hose (can't remember which) blowing and the giant steam cloud. Good thing you were not near it when it blew!

wow been a while since i updated this....

    installed miknispool in 8.8

    blew radiator, and upper hose

installed 3 core all metal RAD, 180 stat, and a continueous duty relay so now i can run my fan on high all the time, and put some water wetter in

    installed dual batts

trimmed more fender, sliced and rolled up the lip on rear fenders

Took out AC compressor, got the condensor out of the way, and the dryer (AC NEVER WORKED... GOIN TO DO ONBOARD AIR)

JEEP now runs at 140* and hasnt gotten hotter then 145*.. and thats goin up a 7* slope for 3 miles, overdrive off.

true test with be next weekend... goin to drive to tucson (thats when it blew up last time

    installed new motor mounts

    Built new front bumper/towpoint

    got 34"x12.50R15 interco Trxus

34" trxus turned out 2" bigger then the 34" LTB's

thx... i basically just wanted to move my tow points up to get them outta the rocks

the bumper will need some reinforcement when and if i attach a winch to it.. but that shouldnt be a problem
