A special THANKS to all the planners and trail leaders.

Hi Ryan,
Your looking for crash 80. I am the other Ron. Hey man, any how it was nice to have met and wheeled with you guys. I was thinking of ya while I drove home- That's why I called ya to see if you wanted to hit the Rubicon!
While I was driving past the exit for the Rubicon, I could'nt help think about how cool it would have been to stop and hit the trail on the way home.
Moab & Rubicon all in the same week- That would have been SWEEEEEEEET!
Ron
Look for a post for a Rubicon Run GSR 2006 some time in Sept.
Thanks for the Reply Ron (Its going to be hard to differentiate you two. Im also trying to still figure out who is who on this board... I guess I should have introduced myself better too... But IM lazy
Ill Never forget the drive up Lions Back... It was sooo Romantic. Just kidding but that is an amazing climb.
Here are the best pics I have of Ron going up Lion's Back, If anyone wants higher quality ones E-mail me and Ill send them to you

Justin, those were GREAT!! I really liked the ones of Chris taking the tough line on Yellow Hill towards the end. And of course I saved a bunch of the full-sized images to my desktop of my ZJ!Originally Posted by jsteves

Wow, I just went through Justin's Rusty Nail pics - those are some REALLY SCARY ones of my baby almost on its side (and top, then side, then on Chad's ZJ, etc.). I thought it felt like I was standing pretty much straight up on my toes on my brake!!! I'm just glad nobody was hurt.
BTW, I'm not smiling because I'm happy about doing a wheel stand, but because at that point I at least had a tow strap!! I was feeling a little precarious.
You've gotta love this little trail fix by KRASH 80 of Ryan's track bar bracket (Chad supplied the welder, scrap metal, and vise!!):
Might be a stupid question but did you guys run Rusty Nail backwards? I could have swore we came from the other direction at EJS....... Sucks that I didn't get any pics of my ZJ and the scrambler doing rusty nail. Looks like you guys had a blast!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, we did run it forwards, but I came back to give a winch assist to a ZJ up the obstacle pictured above (that's why I'm facing the wrong direction). Anyway, after coming back down a ways, I realized I hadn't left much room for him to land, so I started to back up. I was having a tough time getting one of my rear tires up a ledge, so I nudged the gas a little - the rear unloaded so quickly, I almost certainly would have gone over if it wasn't for the rock on the right (and the finger of God)!!! Ron ended up coming back too to serve as an anchor (not only to get me back on all 4, but so that we could winch the other ZJ up).Originally Posted by Tommy

Yes, I have to agree with Stan. Cody and I were backing him up when it unloaded and spring right up. It all happened so fast, but it made for a great photo.
Stan- I too have the same problem with my check engine light coming on sometimes. I have replaced several sensors, But sometimes I have to D.C. my battery and try to reset the computer.
It all started when I had a Jet Chip that one day for no reason, just fried! I mean burned up!
They gave me my money back, but ever since I have had elec. problems.
Stan let me know what you find out with yours.
Thanks,
Ron

Needless to say I have never gotten out of my jeep so fast after thinking Stan's ZJ was going to roll down hill onto me.
Thank you everyone for the help, spotting and knife jabs. Idiot Savant signing off....
My pictures will be uploaded here in a bit.

Here's what I've got from my one day.

I don't have much either, but here are some fun ones. MUCH of the trip there was on roads like this, with about 100% less traffic, give or take 0%
Every time I was cooling down while limping off the trail, had a chance to do whatever.
On the way home, sunrise
A single trail shot, becuase I didnt get many good ones.
Great pics Brett.

Don't thank me it was all Suzanne.Originally Posted by Texas ZJ1

Look at all those ZJ Buggy's. That is amazing.
I remember when there were like 3-4 in the country let alone on one trail.
Cody look what you started.

There are some good ones Krash took with my camera of Stan almost rolling down hill onto me.
