I'll pop it over to 10 once I'm close to Downieville.
So, how long can you keep kids packed in a Jeep? Hmmm... If I pack them in the ZJ before I leave for Denver on Tuesday and come back late Wednesday, will they still be OK when we leave early Thursday morning? Or is it a WJ thing that keeps them fresh longer?Originally Posted by Mtn WJ
They keep better if you pack them in dry ice.
10-4 Roger that good buddy. Over and out.Originally Posted by BigDaveZJ
Well you know kids these days last longer due to all the preservatives in the food they eat.

So XLSLC & BigDaveZJ what time you think you'll hit the Downieville exit?
I'll probably leave 1.5-2 hours before that time cause I have no idea how fast I'll be able to go in the mountains. 4.0 w/3.55's & 32's

Well considering I am bringing my dad, together we'll have plenty of gas
Perhaps we will beat you to Moab. I run 4.10s with the 4.0 and 32s. My WJ hangs pretty decent on I 70. You have to go down to 2nd now and then but not too bad.
ARLO:
I'll be at Downieville around 11. Shouldn't be long getting there, just take 93 to rt. 6 (meets 70 right before Idaho Springs), and then its just a couple of exits on I-70 to Downieville. Takes pretty close to an hour from Boulder. I'll be on channel 10 the whole way and trying to leave Boulder at 10am sharp.
Ok, I'll see ya there. I'll probably leave 9:30ish and wait for you...
