I normally build XJ's but I got a great deal. It was stock when I got it so far i have done a f to r swap with 3in rustys from an XJ up front. 32x9.5x15 S.S. TSL I also trimmed the front fenders.
Any tips or suggestions would be great.
Eat shit?
Welcome to M.C.
Why dont you trim the rear?
Look into some adjustable arms to push the rear axle back and get it away from the rocker.
Eat shit
Shit eater?
I didnt weld my fenders back together but don't tell anyone!
I've heard there is some automotive super ultra mega glue/sealer, if you could get some in between the two fenders, I bet it would be plenty strong. Or if you did the glue then rolled the fenders you'd be set
You could use seam sealer. Thats what I used to fill the gaps at the top.
Paint it black, with trail rash.
If you dont, we will take away your Mancard.
Well I ditched the swampers for a set of cooper stt 32x11.5x15. I still have the front SB in so not to much flex up front.
Oh two doors of a different colors, and a off color mirror, plus decent tires.. Mancard reinstated.
Question: how is the highway noise on those STT's? I plan on getting 33's somewhere down the road. The STT is my #1 pick for now.
So I haven't updated in awhile.....But the fun is just about to begin! I should have some pics up in the next few days.
Well this is what I have been up to.
Chop top (still in progress)
6.5" lift using XJ parts.
Everything is still in the works Im building a cage for the back, I'll post up pics soon.

In the words of ATL ZJ: Keep cutting! Less is more!
What was your reason for the chop top? Most folks these days seem to be going for the "keep it or buggy it" mentality when it comes to the rear hatch...
I like. My wj will get that chop someday.
Well I got a few updates and some wheelin pics.
Thats not me driving but my friend cant take a pic worth a f@#$, so I took them my self.

Cool. Can you feel the unibody flexing or folding at all now with the top removed like that?
what do u have for a suspension setup.. looks crazy flexable for short arm... interested..
I looked at all the other pics you posted and the door fit fine in them. Not trying to be a dick here at all. But if its twisting a bit you can tell us we wont flame ya and Im sure there is more than enough knowledge here to help you get it straightened out.
Im sure that Im getting some frame flex but my door really doesn't fit right. Other then a cage what suggestions do you have.
