Alright well its not completely done yet, but I got some super cheap paint and painted it any my gas tank skid, and threw it all back together so I could drive this beeyotch! Talk about body roll....yeah lol its pretty intense now BUT the rear rides smoother and softer now with the shocks as such. I LIKE IT.

And some I took just now for fun...

Thanks man, I took it out to a local OHV place just to mess around with some friends and test the rear suspension. I'm waiting on pics from someone elses camera, but I dropped my rear coil past my 5" bumpstop extension...AND the other side didn't rub, I guessed the length of the bumpstops pretty much perfectly. It tucked up NICE.

What is the increased body roll from? The angled shocks? No rear sway bar?

I would assume a combination of the shocks being mounted in so far and no sway bar

I've been running swaybarless for a while, and had gotten used to it but yeah having my shocks inboarded and triangulated makes it more interesting lol. I love how the rear rides now though, it soaks up bumps a LOT better, just has a slight bounce to it.

Got some pics from the local OHV (Prairie City), just testin out the new shock locations and such. I'm happy, I just need limiting straps now.

Bump stop extensions are perfect, the tire tucks up in but never hits. Talk about a lucky guess.

Awesome Pics (and nice work on the rig this winter), I immediately knew exactly where you were. That's one of my favorite views of Tahoe as well. I love driving around that corner headed in to Tahoe with people that have never seen it before.

Just curious, what elevation is the snow line at right now? I haven't been up for a month or so, but I am just finishing my rig and am really hoping to get a snow trip in before it is all gone.

Damn man your camera captures some vivid colors.

So When one of my designs is flawed and breaks I'm not ashamed of showing you guys so no one copies me with the same results. The shock bar broke. I shouldn't have driven it without getting limiting straps, but that what I get. When I was out flexing for those pics apparently I did max out the shocks at one point, and because they were triangulated they had massive leverage against the mounts and bar which bent/weakened the bar. It broke a few days later just driving around. If I had my limiting straps installed this wouldnt have happened as they were going to be mounted to the outer bolts which were in the middle of the gussets and closer to the frame rail so there would be less leverage. Oh well you live and learn right? I got some 1x2" box mounted across the same gap with 1/4" plates on the inside of the frame rails instead of 1/8". I'll snap some pics, but hopefully my dumb ass wont break this one.

Haha Bob I started at 4" and 33" MTR's, we all gotta start somewhere! Give me a wave if ya see me sometime.

Alright I rebuilt the sides of my front bumper after I ripped one side apart on my last rubicon trip a while ago, heres the best pic I have:

I tucked the sides up way higher than before, and added alot of support by putting some plate on different planes to add rigidity. If I could find a radiator that was about 3" shorter I could completely eliminate the lower rad support. The bottom of the radiator would sit about even with the bottom of the frame rails so I could make a straight support across, and cut the bottom of my front bumper off from the bend down. That may happen at some point in the future...
