    Leafs will ride worse.
Just spend the money and do the long arms. It's worth it.

    stupid question.

can you triangulate short arms? I dont have the money for long arms, and i want to eliminate my rear track bar.

DON'T DO IT! the upper ca mounts are already weak enough! I (and several others on here) were ripping them off the frame in the stock configuration! they were not designed to have side loads on them like the RK triangulation kit makes it.

i did hear about those 4 links causing some bad damage.

my only concern was because im still using that rear track bar bracket from RE.

I guess ill suck it up and buy a jks unit.

ive been browsing the for sale forums trying to get a decent deal on it.

im trying to get the 8.8 on my jeep as cheap as possible, then upgrade from there. i want to see/show others how cheap an axle swap can be.

just ordered the yoke adapter from shaftmasters, and a set of stock axle brackets that a forumer here wasnt using. i also have to drop by napa and get a pinion seal.

right now ive spent around 250 including grinding discs etc. all i have left is some brake lines and a rear tb (not normally neaded for axle swaps)

also, with the 8.8 came the factory sway bar explorers use. alot beefier then my sway bar. Im gonna see what i can do to get this sway bar mounted to my jeep. anyone try this?

assembled some end links similar to the links that came with the addco front sway bar. lined the rear explorer bar up on my d44 and it lines up perfectly with my UCA mounts.

just have to get a bracket welded next to the bump for the upper part of the end link.

pics arent that great, i ran out of hands.

    cleaned up the tubes

    link assembly

    complete bar

bushing lined up with UCA mount. endlink will be turned upside down. again, didnt have an extra hand to hold the end link to the body

I don't know how well that is going to work out.... ideally you want the "legs" of the swap parallel with the ground or a few degrees up. right now I'm using my stock rear sway modified to work for now, until I get around to mounting up the TJ sway like several others have on here.

Why bother with a rear swaybar, they are tiny anyways, as long as you keep your front on you wont miss that rear swaybar at all. It just seems like a lot of aggravation for nothing

I have the kit sitting here at the house if you are interested in it.

Both upper arms and the craddle/bracket that bolts to the rear axle. The cradle is for a d44.

That was something i forgot to mention to my welder.

Im sick of this not being able to weld burdon on my back. The next dollar i spend will be towards a welder. Thinking a Ready Welder so i can carry it with me on the trail, and some minor work at my house.

The guy who did the welding for me is the mechanic my dad has used for his landscaping/plow business repairs. hes a very fair guy, and doesnt charge an arm and a leg. he bases the majority of his work at 40-55 an hour.

I got hit with a 275 dollar welding bill

Whether thats fair is not isn't up to me, I've never welded before so I dont know how long this job should have took.

Did you end up using stock bracketry for your 8.8, or did you buy a bracket set? It looks stock from the pics but I can't tell.

its factory bracketry from a set of d35 tubes i bought off djjordache. I would have taken them off my 44, but i want to jeep my 44 as complete as possible so i can sell it.
