i no longer consider my jeep a lowrider.

    new specs:

RE 5" lift. arms, tb's, shocks, springs, etc
rustys tie rod conversion (in the mail)
RE quick discos (in the mail)
33" baja claws (bought off gunthagunth)

next im throwing a 242 in there, getting a rad support, maybe a steering box brace. im not sure if i want to get into lockers and such just yet.

    any advice for upcoming parts?

trimming the front makes the fenders alot weaker, but its alot easier to hammer out any dents you get on the trail.

the pinstriping is terrible, i really need to redo that.

    Looks good.

Im assuming you got the rims with the tires from Gunth, so 15 x10's right? Whats the backspacing on them?

the way my suspension sits now is: in the front i have the 3.5" spring, kevins 2" spacer, and no isolator. in the rear i have the 3.5" spring, 1" spacer, and the stock isolator.

my arms are all mixed and matched. i have nth degree front uppers, teraflex front lowers, re rear lowers, and currently stock rear uppers. i want to find a pair of nth degree rear uppers but that company went out of business. their dual lock nut design works great so you can install the arms at both ends and adjust them while theyre still on.

i believe my 15x10" wheels are 4" of BS. i never really measured.

when i get home from school for the summer i plan on cleaning it up a bit. i want to clear out everything in the fenders and undercoat inside the fenders and under the body. i also want to remove the axles and clean those and paint them. if im lucky hopefully find a new rear axle to put in there instead.

here are a few new pics.

rustys steering. already hate it, JCR "one ton" is going in soon.

242 t-case is in, and i installed a novak shift linkage kit

thats what i heard. i like how they build the product once the order has been made instead of mass producing and stocking them. it may take longer but it sounds better to me.

i wanted to go with the currie, but its just too expensive and i wasnt sure it would fit. the main reason i went with the rustys kit was to get the drag link away from my sway bar mounts. the currie is identical to the stock steering but beefier, so i didnt want to risk 400 bucks on a product that didnt fit.
