thanks everyone for all the comments, I can't wait to get the door painted and rhino lined, and trim the rear fenders to the doors, and wheel the piss out of it
So on my way to GSW06 can i stop by yoru house to pick you up. i already might have a guy in alberta joining the convoy.
I'll be on vacation and out of state from may 31st till june 14th so can't make this trip. We need to orginize a GSNW here for more people locally
x2 .
took the heep out for a drive today and the front tries rub pretty bad with 5 people in the jeep and making a full lock turn lol I need to trim my front inner fenders and bash it with a sledge hammer some, and trim up my sliders. but I don't really need to trim anymore out back as my rear tire compresses nicely
Ha, mine do the exact same shit at full lock with the 2" BS wheels. I hammered the pinch seam back in, but they still rub bad when flexed. I may end up grinding that area flat and running a bead down to maintain structural integrity.Originally Posted by 97trxuszj
fuck it I'll hack out the inner fenderwells and tub it with trailor fenders like I was gonna do on my old Minitruck on Airbags and 20's
here are some flex pics with the sway bars connected. I'll have a wheelin video link up soon of me busting my front d44 long side u joint and inner splines
Damn, looking good.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...3&q=jeep+break
my video, we picked the line to the right in the video and bypassed the hole, well after a sucessful day I figured what the hell I'll try the hole. my TC bushings on the selector shafts are gone so my TC was giving me issues trying to shift into 4wd you'll be able to tell when I'm finally in 4wd
Jeez that broke way easy! I have done shit like that on my D30 lots of time and haven't busted anything yet.
You running 35's? yea I had it in 4 lo and was hitting it fairly hard when at full lock, but it first spit the cap then broke at the yoke end and then snaped the splines off in the detroit. but yea broke to easy, so I have now yukon 4340 alloy shafts and their super joints so hopefully I don't break now or if I do its warrenty

That broke really easily.. Weird, I've hammered down with on my waggy 44 with stock shafts turning 37" iroks much harder than that and haven't seen any breakage, knock on wood.. I'm sure once I get beadlocked and the stroker in, that may change.
Q78 TSLs actually. They are like a 35.5x11.5 or something weird like that.
