    Hey im new to the site am i aloud here? i drive a lifted 87 yj, 4 inch lift 33's looking for a 3 inch body lift, i live in kelowna b.c. great site

    If it were mine I wouldn't go over 1 inch body lift. A three inch lift means you will have 2 inch space/air between the bumper and grill and about 4 in the rear. Not to mention the side view of air between the body and frame.

    mmm, in agreement with 5.2 krawler... dude, if your gonna lift it, just lift it, no body lift nonsense, a 1 inch maaaybe 2 inch is ok if you have chopped as much sheet metal as you possibly can and are still haveing clearance issues. Try 1 1/2 shackles and say a 1 inch body lift, much better performance wise in my opinion. but to each his own. so if you wanna, by all means go for it. (i had a 94 yj... then i tought it to kiss telephone poles and roll over... sad day... 10K out the pooper...)
