So, I finally talked my wife into letting me get a new toy. It's a very slightly used Miller Spectrum 3080 Plasma cutter. Got it off E-bay for a very decent price. It's rated to cut up to 7/8" quality cut and sever 1 1/4". Tried it out on some 3/8" plate this evening and it's F'N SWEET!!!

we've got a miller plasma in the shop on campus, its bad ass, it's very similar to that one. cuts through 1/4" easily and looks 10 times better than with the torch.

Yep, that is a HF band saw. Been borrowing it for a couple years(?) from my buddy. Very slow cutting, but leaves a nice cut.
