You know I am okay with it all to be honest, a little bummed but I need to do what's right and my wife and I are on the same page with it all so it will all work out.

Yea and it will have a kick ass drivetrain:
    Stroker
    Custom trans
    Flipped D300
    HP60 (5.38's)
    14b (5.38's)
    Internal roll cage

And I am sure lots of other goodies.

This is the very reason I am unmarried and have no children.

    Good luck though Dirk.

    Chad,

I imagine Dirk values relationships with his wife and his own kids more than anyone could ever with a POS jeep. Family comes first.

Dirk, as long as you make it to GSW. With or without the jeep. Good luck selling your house.

Yes I do value my family, it is very important to me, that is why I am okay with this situation.

Thanks for all the support guys,

I do know that this is the right decision and that it will turn out to be the best thing for not only my family but my Jeep as well.

You have to take care of you and yours first. That way you have the support needed to take care of everything else. I hope your house sells quick so you can stop worrying about that and start thinking of the build again!

I don't know about that, I may have better luck flying out, your junk can barely make it off the ranch sometimes.

yeah you better get that 14 bolt! I have had a LONG past 2 days! My brothers stroker XJ killed the d35 and I mean dead! He was also in the rain and was in 4wd full time and when the rear end blew up it locked the carrier and then blewup the 242 case So I had to rent a trailer at Uhaul and go pick it up yesterday to bring it home to fix the beast.
I have been at the junk yards all day today and got another 242 transfer case and a 97 8.8.
I'm tearing it all apart tomorrow and will post pics of the aftermath of what ~300HP and ~370TQ can do to a TURDy5
93' ZJ 4.7L STROKER, Clayton LONGARMS, 4wd conversion, 231 SYE, HPD30, 8.8, BFG 35's, 2000 manifold & injectors, Hesco fpr, Port & polish, LS1 valves, WJ Steering/brakes, KOR SliderZ & steering box brace, Clayton TB bracket and my custom trackbar, Crane ignition, B&M cooler, Tom Woods, etc....

Wow, it fit in the back of a ZJ.
Must have been fun lifting that out Dirk.

Getting it out was easy (used the cherry picker) getting it in was a bitch, took 3 of us and even then it was pretty tough.

    BTF Disc brakes
    BTF Diff Cover
BTF 4-Link truss w/ Pinion Guard
    A little pumpkin shaving
    5.38 thick gears
    Full Spool
    All new bearings/seals etc.

I am also thinking of running coilovers bith front and rear. When I am in Vegas for SEAM and the W.E.Rock comp. I will be talking with Dan from BTF to get some ideas on my different options there.
