I would suggest more straps and doing both. Main straps should go around the axles to keep the Jeep on the trailer, secondary straps to the frame to control sway.

word. I've found that the more I compress the suspension down while towing, the more stable it feels. Without it, you can feel the jeep sway and pull you around a bit.

Lookin good dude. Can't wait to see you roll it

Forgot to mention, brought the ZJ to the exhaust shop monday to have the exhaust peiced to gether. I had to order a smaller cat and some sort of really skinny flowmaster to fit in the spot I wanted. I think the thing is only like 5.5" wide or something. If anybody lives in the SD area I highly recomend a shop off of Miramar Road called Wholesale Tube Bending. Larry the owner is the shit!!

I notice you and I have the same front axle. I thought you might want to know that you don't have to order that kit from Dyna Trac to delete the two piece axle. All I did was shorten the long side two inches (ground off the weld on the "C" and cut the end off) and buy Dutchman shafts and an OX locker (when not locked it is completly open). Also, the two diff. seals have the same O.D. So all I did was put a seal that goes on the short side on the long side. Only cost me $1500 compared to Dyna Tracs $2895, and this does not include a locker.

Just letting you know, and if you already knew this, sorry for wasting your time.

As it sit's right now my plans went to hell. First off the spools I got were the wrong spline count . So I went ahead and ordered ARB's front and rear from Peak ZJ. They should be here this week. The steering still isn't done. I have no fucking front shaft yet. And the rear end doesn't even have any gear oil in it. It has been sitting at my dads shop for the past 2 weeks. Work has kicked my ass, with 76 hour work weeks. Been pulling a few doubles a week. My wife has been on my case. Shall I go on, I could write a novel.

To sum it up, NO!! I am a bitch and won't be there this year. But when it is done I will PM you Cody so you can watch it roll as you predicted. have fun guys..

Why? It goes from the garage to the parking lot, from the parking lot to the trailer. From the trailer to the shop, and it will be taken off and go full hydro.

I have driven it a couple of times. From the exhaust shop to my dads shop at about 60 mph and it seemed stable. Relatively speaking for a half ass alignment and a shit load of bump steer.

    Kraqa,
You're either stoned or you're talking about Cody's tow rig? Cause his buggy has a D44.

I misread Billa's article. The early D60's on Dodge's were passenger drop. I remember looking at Cody's D60 in his tow rig and comented on it being reverse roation.
