This is the first time I have tried to post a pic since the site was moved to the new server. I wonder if that has anything to do with it??

Nope, server change won't affect funcionality at all (except its 100x faster now)

I think they must have a bandwidth limitation on each album, and you hit it on the first one... We're considering offering picture hosting here eventualy, but that'll be in the works for awhile.

do you have any idea how much lower it will sit once you have the lighter springs and they set in a little? Pics work fine for me, but yeah, that thing is really up there. I thought mine was tall...

At the least 6" or so lower. You can see how far forward the rear is pushed.

Definately not happy with how high it is sitting. It will sit lower I have to stress that, I do want to wheel it. As far as the back spacing is concerned I am running 4". Street legal in a sense that yes it will pass smog and yes it will be registerd. However the biggest issue is going to be how far the tires are out of the fender wells. Here in socal there are huge f250's running around with no mud flaps. I am sure I will get popped but that is what freinds are for..

I got pulled over about once or twice ever month for no mud flaps and tires sticking past the fenders. Only got one ticket but been pulled over about 10-12 times for it, got pretty annoying.

Didnt realize it was going to drop that much. Should look way better then. It may have been answered already but are you going to run some anti-rock stuff?

The plan is to run some sort of sway bar eventually. It probably wont be on for GSW.

Ryan put some lighter coils on the ZJ this past weekend. Dropped about 3"'s or so. The bumps and limit straps should be on in the next week or so. Hopefully when I get back I can snap some pics. Too bad my imagestation is all fucked!! It is still going to be on the high side, with regards to what most feel is acceptable, but the thing is wide.

Holy obvious bumps steer batman!! The rig will be getting full hydo. bump steer with the double triangulated front is the least of my problems. I doubt by GSW though. i don't think i have the time. The ZJ also sits about 4" lower than the original pic. Finally moved on it's own power for the first time in 6 months. Maybe this weekend i will take the standard poser forklift pics.

running one tire turned the wrong way also makes your bumpsteer worse.
as i type. it will also pull to the left in the mud.

Okay, I think it has been mentioned in this particular thread at least three times. I went to switch it around this weekend and what do you know. Those fuckers at 4heel parts mounted 4 tires for the driver side. I didn't pay attention when I picked them up. I need to take the spare and have it flipped for the passenger side, I 'll do that when I take the ZJ down to have the exhaust / gears done at my Dad's shop.

I did drive the ZJ Saturday for the first time in 6 months. This thing was all over the fucking road. Ordering the full hydro today. The suspension seems to work well and the coils seem to be right on. This is pointless without pics but we got the thing stuck on it's first time out, easy to do with only 2 wheel drive ( no front drive shaft and no lockers yet).

Things to do still, before GSW

    Belly Skid
    Hydro Steering
    Front drive shaft
    Gears and Spools
    Posi-LOK
    Exhaust

Picked up the jeep from the shop on Saturday. On the way to my Dad's shop for gears, spools, posi-lok and exhaust. And get a front drive shaft measured.

    And some fun to come..

Strap your Jeep around the axles and tires... not around the body. Makes it bouncy.

It wont make a difrence on where you tie it down. most tow companies strap down from holes in the frame. I see no difrence with this then the bumpers.
