Cool. Im planning a simple truss for the hp30. Post up any cool ideas you find.
well, went back to the place in above pics, but hit up the more extreme trails this morning. Just rolled/flop this bish, pics to come. Only mechanical damage I have seen so far is a bent tie rod. Im getting on the ball with the tube doors now, probaby a plexi windshield in the works as well.

Damn. Looks like an easy over though. Was it?
I layed it up on the pass side & driver side earlier up the trail & drove out of them, the final flop was not too bad I guess. Deninately load tested the singer and it kept me from rolling further.
Tube doors and better roll cage padding in the works now.
Interested how you like the anti rock. Also cant believe you havent flipped the dl yet.
gonna see how it works, it was definatley swaying alot less on the trailer.
Just put in the currie steering a few weeks ago. I am going to try to get in a new steering gear this week, durango box and will be installing with a 2" drop pitman. The orig 160k box is finally showing signs of failure.
Cool.
well windshiled is long gone. thinking about lexan or plexi, thoughts?
also got my replacment brake lines in, stainless with urnge (same price as clear) silicone abrasion covers, lolz
anti rock seems to limit roll a little, maybe I need to go to the next stiffer setting. flexx seemed the same.
Not sure about the windshield.. Which does better with abrasion??
Im building an F150 hp44 and 9 currently 65" wms just make sure you dont get a cast wedged one.
Before you spend a dime on the 9" make sure its straight!!! Killed a detroit due to the bent tube. If I were to do it over I would have just upgraded to an aftermarket housing and fixed the rest off the bat.
hp44/8.8 ftw. Narrow the 44 to waggy width and run a super 8.8 to get rid of the c clips and match the width of the 44. Or just run spacers on the 8.8. After seeing all the 9" carnage and heartache on here lately I'll stick with the 8.8 until I outgrow it which will probably never happen.
