That is a XJ. Who gives a shit.....box.
d44 w/detroit, superior 4.56, longer SS brakeline added
primered
ready to go
permacool PS cooler
cheapo CB wired up, still need antenna
in progress: lebaron hewd vents, regear front turdy
this is a lebaron hewd vent:
mounted on an xj (not mine)
looking good man.
but that interior is way to clean.
i was waiting to see a shit box????
Kraqa, thanks
"but that interior is way to clean."
i do detailing on the side too, easy money
we finally got the new rear D44 under the heep too. ended up having to swap the YJ e-brake cables that were on it with the old XJ ones. the YJ lines were like 2' too long. everything was out so just installed all new brake pads and hardware too for the hell of it.
while installing the new axle i also noticed a slightly crimped main fuel line ops: (aboot 10-20% flow it looked like)
bottie fabbed repair was done of course since a new line was $50 from the stealer
i ended up cutting out about a 2" section w/ a tubing cutter. and i put on a 12" (so it overlapped a good 5"+ each side) 5/16" goodyear rubber fuel line (said 50psi on it) with 4 clamps.
MORE motormounts went in this week
lotsa vibes but that is supposed to die down once they break in
drivers side
pass side
looks like the drivers side wears out faster due to excessive header heat, the rubber closest the header was hard and brittle[/QUOTE]
plus i got a madd pimp new (to me) spare, ProComp 33" X Tizzerain on a chromed 15x8
replacing my old dick cepeck mud on 15x7
[the d-c/rim for sale btw, $25+ship]
lebaron vents were sanded, primed, painted and claer coated. pretty good color match for my rattle can skills. holes still have to be cut + vents installed they are just resting up there
fuel line repaired
got some spare 760x axles with hubs as a post christmas gift
getting D30 stuff together. got the cover and evo from RuffyTuffy on here. thanks again
fresh rattle can job, bling bling (before pic )
superior evo axle. All i need now is a PASS side!
(for u bolts)
btw, thanks to imageshack for the hosting. lotsa pics on here
Nice work on the diff cover. Did you do all of that? I want to make a beefy diff cover for my HP 30 and 8.8, but I keep getting over whelmed by the thought of a jigsaw puzzle of cardboard.
Is that a Trout Insudtries ring?

8)
its made of a single piece of pressed steel
OK Kewl...
I saw where you were grinding some weld spatter away, and thought maybe you made it.
All clear now... 8)
why couldn't you buy a manufactured HD cover, and shave the cover to match the diff?Originally Posted by Jim311
