Went down to Old Chinaman's Gulch today. First trip for the Chalupa in a while and it kicked some major ass! And SOMEHOW it was the only one that didn't get some kind of damage, even though Corey gave it bat-wings in the middle of the trail cuz the rear tires were rubbing. I snapped my left rear shock in two at Whale Rock. Cristi bent her steering. Scott had some problems with CA brackets. And Tom thorougly annihilated his D30. Cristi and I got owned by Whale Rock and had to get strapped up, which SUCKED because we both made it just fine back in May. Anyways, on to the pics!

    Chalupa!!!!

    I am BATMAN!

    Me on the rocks

Tom right before he grenades a shaft

Shitty pic of said grenaded shaft

    Chalupa!

    Scott at Whale Rock

    SOOOOOOOOOOOO close!!!

Cristi came close too, and might have been able to make it, but was getting pretty close to too tippy!!

    Chalupa on the new obstacle

Tom hanging out on the new obstacle

I really needed new shocks anyways!

BTW, It was a good maiden voyage for the Chalupa! Tom jinxed you guys by suggesting she'd break!! Shows him!!

Hey, that's not quite what I said. I said something to the effect of "If you're going to do Carnage Canyon, you might as well do it at the beginning of the day so we have all day to recover. You didn't do Carnage, so my statement didn't really apply!

It was a fun day and I really don't know how I broke so much stuff!!! Old age of the ZJ's stock components I'm thinking.

Fitting. I was in China when you were in Chinaman's Gulch.
Looks like a fun day, sorry I missed it.

Nice bump Z......that little skinny pedal goes all the way to the floor for a reason...................................lol
"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to the countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process. The responsibility of the United States in this conflict is to eliminate weapons of mass destruction, to minimize the danger to our troops and to diminish the suffering of the Iraqi peole." - Nancy Pelosi circa 1998

And your rebuttal Ms. Communist bitch?

Yeah it does, but I understand him not doing it. He snapped that 30 shaft earlier and for some reason or another ended up not getting ANY power to the wheels up front shortly after that video clip was taken. Had to tug him off of there, but yeah, to make that he needed a MUCH bigger bump!

Yep. We will be heading up Friday night, camp at the trail head, and run the trail when we are ready Sat. Not sure who all is going. Us, my buddy Andrew, and I think Dave is going to ride with one of us. Call me if you're interested.

Let me see what's cooking this weekend and get back to you. Thanks for the invite. I would meet you at the trailhead, not too early I hope.
