What trail?
Nice work on the control arms. I like the way you chose to show us. Flopped on its side!! Did you notice ANY difference from the old ca's to the new units?
what would he notice? the ~35lb difference is the difference between an empty and full cooler. Or seat tubes full of ice water or whatever tickles your fancy.
joint/bushing manners and bad geometry aside, links are kind of like axles. you aren't going to notice them on the trail unless you have a failure.
Was your smaller steering wheel comment supposed to be a jab? If so good one chadford.
I drew up a chassis for the welder and had them cut at work on the Laser.
I redid the seat mounts in the Jeep.
Looks really good! That's the next thing I need to do.....BAD. Tie my seats into my cage.
boy those steel cup holders are gonna save some weight!
Thanks to variances in 14b housings and lack of QC, I am going to have to remove some material from the spindles to make these new brake brackets fit. They fit on the three housings I have at work.
They use late model brake calipers, backing plates and ebrake setups.
Yeah.......luckily my belts are tied to the cage...but in a hard enough roll I worry about my seats tearing loose.
That is a cool idea Chad. The topic of having a functional park brake comes up a lot regarding the 14b swap w discs. Gonna patent?

The Jeep is going to go under the knife here in the next few weeks for some new cage work. I am having Andrew and his team at Letzroll Offroad cut off the rest of the sheetmetal and weld in some new tube alah Cody's old buggy.
any updates? Did they start chopping yet
