Yes it is! I agree completely! See, at first I wasn't thinking you'd cut out the rocker...very well worth it! Go another 3" higher!! That's what I did because I got greedy haha. You'll love it!
Just do the one side? Who you finna try?
Actually I really agree. Considering your never going to have doors on, any reason you dont want to go any higher? Like to those tubes you have sticking out horizontally?
Chad, I'm sure you saw it, but just so you can see the comparison of what 3" higher could get you...

edit: plus you wouldn't have that little tab sticking out like mine do for the fenders...

Using a lever, the passenger side came off easier than the driver side.
The inside had more sand in it than a beach.
The clearance.
And the second set of ZJ Sliderz Kevin ever sold are ready for the recycling center.

Looking good I'll be hacking into mine this weekend!
My good friend Dave gave me the rams that he was using as his rear suspension that I will use for my tube bender build.
Chad
those ashmans old set-up?
I like the way it looks with the rear fenders/sheet metal.
Otis looks pretty laid back.
Driver side is ready for bondo and paint.
31 1/2" to the top of the triangle and 28" to the bottom.
Looks good mang!
Damn! looks hell for stout!
My Father and I recently completed some new lattice work for my parents patio area in the backyard of their home. This was a fun project.
Only in the desert would that survive haha. Up here that would be nothing but a red stain on the ground in 6 weeks. I miss that about living in the desert, no rust.
My parents want it rust color. They are going to let it rust and clear coat it when they like the level of rust.
I've built a few pieces of furniture and stuff for my dad, i really enjoyed using the metal working skills to that end. Good stuff!
I don't see very many nodes.....
Probably should reinforce those chairs too and add some more lateral support
