Have to make time in your life for hobbys.
Some Pro Comp square lights (Alah Cody Style) and some LED turn and side marker signals.

thats kind of a sad perspective.Originally Posted by chadjans

looks really good, cant wait to see how your headlights worked out
Got the steering wheel installed. Can't decide if I want to go with round headlights or square lights.

Trimmed out the support behind the front tires. Now I think I need to trim the arched piece. Might wait and see what hits with the new tires. Also trimmed the OE brackets and cleaned up the front 60. Found here: http://wheelingarizona.com/forums/vi...?p=50405#50405
I'd put my 20 bucks for MC to use but there is a picture size limit, so you'll have to go to my local group board for pics.

Picture test:
Found some shifters for the hand throttle, found some new headlights and bought a new steering arm and drag link. Drag link came from Station on pirate and the arm is a rock stomper product.
Chad
sweet.
you definatly need to trim the rest of that a pillar support. There is alot of room to be had in htere.
Front head light conversion, hand throttle and tied the roof into the cage. Ordered the new seats should be here anyday now.
Chad
i liek those lights. The roof ty in looks kinda sketchy to me. IS there a plate on the other side? I kwo its not suposed to be a super structural cage moutn but still. That thin sheet metal will eventually tear away from that, over time the roof will flex enough to fatigue on the corners of that plate. I would have used something round to weld to the roof. At least it makes it harder for a crack or tear to form.
It is just there to keep the roof from flaping around in the wind. Not structural at all.
Chad
I don't know what you are talking about. These unit bodies are supper strong and don't move around at all with a cage. Duh.Originally Posted by Kraqa

Got the front turn signal harnesses done. The ground on the rear running lamps becoming disconnected accidently threw me for a loop. Thought the new bulbs I am using wouldn't work. Ended up removing the factory splices to simplify the wiring and shortened it up a bit. They turned out really nice. Also had to add a ground wire since the new housings are self grounded.

Mounted the front turn signals. Having ground fault issues. Keep tripping fuses. But hey they are mounted. Made 12 tabs and welded them on.
Chad
i used those lights and found that they did not provide enough resistance to trip my breaker for the blinker.
They worked before I hard mounted them and introduced my ground fault issues. Two of the three bulbs are the same size as the OEM setup. Just the major turn blink bulb is smaller. I am thinking I may have to go with the two bulb version of the same housing of this light. You use the single or two bulb versions?
