Chad your lover handles are on there way. i asked reception to ship them out along time ago but apparently they were to bashfull to ship a fedex package that had "BIG BLACK DILDO's" all over it. I just hope it makes its way throught customs with no problems. the fedex guy looked at me liek i was crazy.
I am speachless. Thanks I guess. But please tell me this is not the case. For I gave you my work address...
Chad
BWAHAAAAAAAAAAH!
hahaha, that's gold.
Knowing Kris it's most likely true.
oh it has "big black dildo's" writen on it. i'm 100% sure customs will tear it open and have to repackage it with there yellow tape.
Kris, that is great LOL
I sure hope so. I wouldn't know what to say to my coworkers. "They are roll cage handles from a friend." "Some friend..."Originally Posted by Kraqa

Got some new tires for the towrig. So look now I have rollers for the jeep. Also had to rework the overhead lights. The base for the lens to attach to is metal and kept ground faulting on the cage when I had them zipped tied to it. So put a piece of MDF between the two.

Added some moon roof holes to the rear area and moved my CB antenna mount.

Didn't realize I had my four link setup so well. Small amount of rear steer. Quite happy really. Filled in the old gas filler neck hole, added some reinforcing strips to the inner wheel wells, door edge lined the inner wheel wells, and a few new overall pictures.
A few more.
Roller tires? you already have a set on the Jeep When's the new meat coming? I'm amazed that you can focus on the detail work with your axle swaps still pending...
Getting the small stuff right makes the big stuff easy. Axle swaps are going to be easier than normal. Just have to put the housings in the correct location in relation to the jeep. Build new arms and work out the finer details like brakes when they are hung. Can't have any PPPP.
The sad thing about the tires is that they are slightly smaller than the 33 BFG's currently on the jeep. Just for a 16 inch rim. Need to find some used junkyard 8 bolt rims that are 16 inch in diameter.
New meat? Not sure, want to find some used 39's.
Did some measuring and calculating for the coilovers. The mounting areas that I am planning are a perfect 34 inches apart, perfect for a 16 travel shock. Need to pull the rear housing and sell it and the tires to pay for the coilovers. Planning on picking them up first week of October when I go home to visit the rents and see a concert.

There is a guy over here in Mississippi selling a set of used 39.5" IROKS.
Really stooked about this one. It is alive. Installed the new suspension this evening. Went pretty quick.
Put five gallons in the cell and backed it out of the garage. Really really like the way it looks. Engine fired right up. Pump appears to be working good.
More.
Last few.
I still say cutout rockers would benefit you greatly. This thing is looking good though, I like the attention to detail. One question, what exactly is the purpose for the holes in the roof? was thinking for ventilation but you don't have any doors!
The rockers are tied into the cage, oe rocker and frame rail sleaves. They are staying.
Holes in the roof are for the night runs and looking at the stars.
Great to have it rolling again, must feel good.
Doing some weight calculations.
So if I have a 225 lb / in rate coil, unsprung length 17 3/4", sprung length 15 1/4" difference of 2 1/2'. 2 1/2" x 225 = 562 1/2". 562 1/2" X 2 = 1125 lbs. Correct?
thats the way i woudl do it. Its not 100% accurate but close enough for me.
