O almost forgot: I am gong to use some 2 x 2 into the stock upper rear control arm mounts to parallel the new frame rail and die them into a piece running 90* to the frame rail. And then tie that into the receiver tube.... \\Maybe get it done this weekend.

Was thinking about this today. If I did a "coil bucket" style mount on the side of the frame rail, it would have put the cage and this mount closer to the coil overs I am going to run. This is going to be close even with the new c piler sleaves that moved the lowest portion of the c piler inboard. Glad I did it this way I think.

A few pics of the last few days progress. We will see what the weekend brings. If I can get out of work early enough tomorrow, I am going to go pick up the 14b. Going to order coil overs here shortly. Need them to start putting in the 14b. Cody should be happy; I plan on pulling the 8.8 this weekend....

    On to the pics.

    Damn chad. that looks great.

i like the hitch. And you reallly cannot have to many places with holes. i liek how all the gussets have holes in them. makes it so nice and easy to tie shit down.

one thing i realized is that you would never think you'll need to tie something down in a certain spot. but once you realize you have the capability you'd be supprized how often it gets used.

With all this research i'v been doign into home made shocks and hydro bump stops i'm toyign with the idea of making my own Air shocks.

Are you goign CO r full air?

Got the hole ideas from actually.

Coil overs from ADS. Same ones Ashman bought and is going to use. 1K for springs, 16 in shocks and remote res. ADS Precision Machine is in Tucson, so somewhat local to me and they make all the Howe steering parts.

The 2 x 4 and the 2 x2 are both 3/16. Needed to equal or be slightly heaver than all the sheet metal because you and I both know ZJ buggys are light in the ass.... And would you really add a tug point to a piece of 1/8 wall crap?

1K with springs. Everyset they make is custom. I have to pick David's brain on spec'g a set. Trying to get him to come up and help for a day.

Call Steve at ADS Precision Machine for a set. They are built the same in everyway as Kings. Just in case they disappear. Although they have been around for 25 plus years.
