I am trying something different. Going to try and leave the out fender on, bend it to the c to d horizontial spreader. Might give it a nice look. Hell it may not work but I am going to give it a shot.

Actually I have a crap load of Hiliti blades but nothing that long. So I got two for this project. Then got home and did realize I did have some Hiliti's in that length. Glad I only bought two...

Did some mockup's last night. Realized my c hoop is not on top of the existing frame rail. Going to have to build the new frame rails funky to capture the c hoop. Dammit

Got a nice suprise today at work; my fuel cell showed up. The hole where the existing filler is will make a very nice location for the stock pump. Just hope the height is good on the cell for support for the bottom of the pump. Need to find some aluminum tube the same OD as the stock fender filler piece to weld onto the cell. Or I might just mitre cut the fender filler assembly and weld a flange on it and bolt it to the cell. The filler assembly is steel so it just cant be welded to the cell. Also has a nice rollover valve. Just need some block off fittings for the lower return and send holes.

As you can tell the existing c tube piler does not intersect what will be the new frame rail. I have some 1.75 .120 wall tube I can use to sleave the existing c tube piler to hopefully intersect the new frame rails. But any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. If anyone is reading this.

Wanted to say thank you to HalfDoc for coming over on Sunday (today) and lending a hand. I wouldn't have gotten the frame rails done with out him.

i'v been so busy with work i havn't logged on in over 2 weeks.

nice progress. i woudl have made a "coil bucket" style of mount off the side of the new frame to mount your old c pillar to.

nice rear chop. Looks Awfully familiar....if you knnwo what i mean.

the gas tank cradle looks good, but for some reason just doesn't seam liek yoru style. all squar looking. I would have put some lateral bracing between the frame rails and sat the tank there. Lower center of gravity and you still have the ability to put shit on top of it. Where its mounted now you have room underneath you cant really used and it is so high i woudln't want to put anythign on top.

    ...there you go. some suggestions.

    lol

i liek it dude. keep it up!!!!!!

After seeing pin hole leaks in Cody's old aluminum cell from using the tabs welded on the side, I got the idea of suspending the thing in the cage. We will see. I am going to build a basket in the rear seat area so storage shouldn't be a problem and shouldn't need the area where the tanks sits for storage.

Got a few things done tonight. Nipped the tips, got the receiver done and a small detail. Put some tube inside the 2 x 4 where the d kickers meet it.
