Looks good chad. Whens the dash gonna come out?
After I entice Brian to come help me with the wiring. I have a feeling it will get bobbed and the fuel cell goes in before the dash comes out...

ya he did some freekin amazing work on his rig. don't even try to ask me how he did it. I would never try that. although i'v taken my doors off and never put them back on even when i was wheelin in the rain so door bars are commign up and that means the B pillars are comming off and ...........possibly.....possibly the windsheild.
For guages I am going to use the Autometer roll cage mount guage pods. And for the tach I found a clamp that also allows one to use the cage as the dash... All the guages will be mounted to the cowl spreader.
After moving in my door bars I am really glad I did. Makes things look much simplier and narrows it ALOT. Maybe some day I wll redo the rockers.
Going to try and start bobbing on Tuesday.
Just got an emissons test Friday. Boy was that fun pulling up into line with the rig. Flat tires, no sway bars, doors or windshield.

Narrowed the front bumper more. I think it help a lot with the looks of it. It also strengthened the corner where the fender kicker meets the bumper. I ended up stacking two 3/16" plates and a piece of 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 3/16" tube on the back of whats left of the 2" x 4."
Anyone see what is wrong with the front axle? Other than it being a D30.

Few more...
Added a "Poopy Pipe" or a nipple pipe or whatever the hell Kris called it....
And my Blue Torch fuel cell ring came. Ordered the cell and it is on a three to six week back order. Called Summit and told them to drop ship from RCI. RCI said, "we take care of our drop ships before back stock orders." Hopefully I see it sometime soon. For I won't start the bobbing until I can get an idea of how the cell cradle will interact with the new frame rails.

the poopy bar looks great.
yoru frnt axle is smiling at you
and the bumper looks great. i though narrowing the front bumper doesn't give you any advantage in AZ?
Loosk great chad.
Those massive front tires you have are going to rub, you will need to remove more sheetmetal
all joking aside, it looks good... You've put a ton of work into it and I'm sure it'll pay off. And it's always nice to see the little design changes when you figure out a way to make something work better..

Thanks
Maybe I'm just not seeing it, but whats the point of the poopy pipe?
loop a tow strap on there without having to mess with D-rings or anything?Originally Posted by BMRisko
Makes sense to me. Just reach over the bar and under and the strap would be securely held on...Originally Posted by Patrickr
YES the poopy bar you throw the tow strap ofer the top of the stinger and loop it aroudn the bar. quik easy towing.
Got an RCI 2151AS. No sump with sender. Have to have the BTF ring welded on along with a block off plate for the sender and a filler neck along with a vent to use the stock filler tube and gas cap. Need to have one in AZ to pass emissions. The cell measures: 18" L x 20" W x 10" H and is 15 gallons in capacity.Originally Posted by OverkillZJ

Been trying to get some smaller things done while waiting on the fuel cell.
Diamond plate sill plates
Somewhat moon roof
Giant grab handle
Tire changing ramp for the trailer
End table
and the start to the 50's style dining set
