I couldn't find my original build thread for my rig, or maybe I never did one.
So I flopped my ZJ last month, and not even while wheeling. My son and I walked away without a scratch. On our way home from wheeling Spring Creek, I took my eyes off the road for a second ("daddy look at this") and traffic was backing up. I panic stopped, and fearing that I'd rear-end the car in from of me, I steered toward the shoulder. But the rear tires locked up when I hit the loose gravel. We spun 180 then flopped. Damage is too great to repair. A, B and C pillars on the driver's side are pushed in. It still does run and drive.
I'm going to hold on to some of the removable parts (axles, suspension and t-case) with the hope I can reuse them on a future build.
In the mean time, FREE PARTS!
'97 ZJ V8
Engine
Transmission
Passenger side doors
All interior parts, seats etc.
whatever else you can think of.
Glad you're okay Ted, that's the uber important part.
Glad you're both okay.
I am also glad to hear you are ok.
Real bummer Ted! Glad you and your son are OK
Vehicles are replaceable, people are not. Glad you guys came out OK.

Thank you all for the support! My son was a bit shook up, but he still wants to go wheeling! I was just mad at myself, still kind of am.
In the mean time, please speak up if you want some parts. I got this thing under a tarp in my backyard, and I need to move it before winter. If I can get some one to take the engine/trans I'll chop the rest up and haul to the scrap yard.
damn, glad youre ok.
wow, glad to hear you guys are OK.
Any chance you still have the zj ? I need that license plate bracket
