I parked my 1995 jeep grand cherokee limited edition 5.2L 4 door when i got home and went out the next morning and it wouldn't start. I didnt notice any problems or anything out of the ordinary leading up to this. So i noticed the fuel pump wasn't turning on so i replaced the fuel pump and it still wasn't starting. Any recommendations or tips? This is my first post but please flood me with any questions or suggestions you have. Any and all help is appreciated, thank you

No i checked the relay, and fuses already. They were working fine. But i did some more testing today and found the relay wasn't getting ground

Hook a timing light onto any wire and see if it's getting spark while cranking. Also look at the tach while cranking. Although not a 100% answer, if it's not getting spark and the tach doesn't move while cranking, it could be the crank position sensor. Just replaced that on my '96 yesterday as it was giving me erratic no start/stalling problems.
IIRC the fuel pump ground is in an odd place. I'd inspect the wiring from the pump module back to the engine bay.
My 94 died on the highway and wasn't getting fuel. I got a pump and replaced it, but noticed in the process that one of the pins in the connection between the pump and vehicle harness had completely corroded away. I just bypassed the plug for that wire and used some insulated spade connectors. The good news is you can access that connector without dropping the tank.

I really wish people would post up what cured their issue. Even though the website doesn't get as much traffic as it used to, there are still a lot of very knowledgeable people here that offer solutions, and it creates a searchable database for others. Just my rant.
Agreed.
If I ever leave one open it’s because I never resolved the issue.
Have you managed to fix this problem? Was it a bad grounding?
