So I guess I値l toss this up here to get somewhere on a build thread.
This is the new build to replace Chewy (eventually)
As I bought her
Now as she sits.

A bit more
Going a little more stock-ish looking
Still have a few more gaps to fill but the overall look is starting to show

Sweet!
Ask Scott
Nice ride!
A little update.
Painted
Then I trimmed a little
U
Test fitted for 37s lol
And the back I started this weekend
Trying to copy what Kraqa did but I can only hope it comes out that clean!
Time to pull cladding? Or leave it?
I値l do more next round but here she sets!

I like the cut on the rear wheel well. That's something I have been considering. Thanks for posting the detail on it!
I see the ground clamp from the welder now, could've answered my own questions. That's what I get for looking on my phone! Doing the rear fenders right is a PITA, but looking forward to a fresh start with my 5.9 eventually since the rear fenders on the blue ZJ are craptacular.
Looking good there.
Looking good! Planning on the Kraqa cut for mine, as well. His build has super detailed pics and explanations of how he did everything. I've read through it at least 3 times, now.
Cladding, or no cladding, that is the question. Lol! I do like the look of it, but how well does it trim up to the new lines? I'm doing a square tube rocker replacement, so that trim will go. Interested to see what you come up with, if you try it. Maybe trim out the middle section, then plastic weld back together and finish before paint? That would keep the more finished edge at the back door.

Ive put a little more into it since I last posted
Added some 35敗 and a new speedo gear
Upgraded to 3覇xhaust from y-pipe back
And actually improved my fuel mileage to almost 14mpg around town
Looks great! Now that winter is over (and we got my wife another car) I can hopefully get some stuff done on mine since I'm not driving it daily.
