I'm getting a P0051 and (oddly) the idle is sporatically awful, acting like it wants to die when I come to a stop. Early research points to Bank 2, O2 sensor (pre-cat). I inspected all of the wiring and looks all intact. I'll order an OEM O2 sensor and swap it out, but my question for you guys, isn't it really odd that a dying O2 sensor would cause poor idle? Can't the 3 other O2 sensors effectively manage the job without affecting idle?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery/flashing the memory and seeing if the CEL returns?
