Trying to figure out why the power windows in my dad's ZJ aren't working. Door harness is in good shape, swapped out the controller in the door and they still don't work, 50a fuse under the hood is good. No other obvious issues. Dome lights aren't working, but haven't messed with that at all yet and my dad's not sure if they stopped working at the same time or not.

If I remember right, the switch pod in the driver's door allows all of them to work. My WAG is that the pod in the driver's door is FUBAR and needs to be replaced.

What year? I think I have a late ZJ door switch in the parts bin I could give you. I'll check tonight...

We swapped out 2 different controllers in the door and no change.

Is there power to the door? I know you said you checked the fuse but is there actually power getting there? You said dome lights, does that include all interior lights, like the ones in the doors?

The power locks and mirror controls work so I'm assuming that the door is getting power. Not 100% sure on the lights, I think they're all out.

Checked all the mini fuses as well?
Also the feed cluster at the plug can have broken wires/bad contacts that will cause all sort of chaos!
And last just for the hell of it has the key in driver door trick been done?

    Because Jeep.

Door harness "appears" to be in good shape. And while I haven't actually checked the mini fuses, I can't find one listed in the FSM or owner's manual that covers the power windows other than the big 50a under the hood.
