    Oh yeah!
"ZJ's were designed with the intention to take 1 really good hit, and fold up. As long as the occupants walked away, it was a success. In the wheeling world, we expect our vehicles to take multiple really good hits, drive out of it, and run the obstacle again!"

We're looking to get our JK on 35's at some point too, hoping to avoid lifting it though and just using fenders.

Forgot I had this picture of the ZJ and my old Tj from the first trip out in the TJ when we bought it. The Zj has been my dads for several years.

Finally home from the Tampa Fl to Salt Lake City Utah road trip and man was it fun!
Day 1. Red eye flight from slc to Tampa had a quick breakfast and headed north to Mobile Alabama about 500 miles on less than 3 hours sleep. Quick nap and we went to a killer dinner in downtown Mobile.

Day 2. Mobile Alabama to Dallas Tx 600 miles
Long day with a quick stop in Shreveport Louisiana for my favorite Cajun food and of course buccees for a new RTIC soft side cooler to keep things cold.

Day 3. Dallas Texas to Albuquerque New Mexico. 700 miles this day was fun but stressful since we suffered our first mechanical issue when the rear pinion seal started leaking bad! Quick stop at the local firestone and we had that fixed plus an oil change. Found some kickass BBQ in Amarillo while the jeep was getting fixed. We managed a quick stop at Cadillac ranch on the way out or Amarillo as well.

Day 4. Albuquerque to MOAB Utah! 300 miles. This was the day I had been waiting for all trip!
We got into Moab unloaded the jeep and hit the trails only ran 2 before finding an issue that prevented me from wheeling more till I can get it fixed. ( rear track bar bracket is gouging the fuel tank ) got off the trail and walked around town and had some killer food at Zax before running into a fuel delivery issue

Day 5. Moab UT to Salt Lake City UT. 205 miles. I woke up and started to the parts store looking for what I would need to fix the stalling and no idle issues from the day before and once that was fixed we went through arches national park before turning north to Salt Lake
    .

Got a few things done this week on the new Grand. I started with something I absolutely thought I'd never do to a grand and well I waxed it and tried to save the paint job that was done a few years ago that was already turning to dusty chalky paint so after some rehab I think it will be fine for a bit. I then focused my attention to the rear track bar setup and the useless track bar lift bracket that was on the rear d44a. the bracket was hitting the fuel tank while flexing as I found out in moab last weekend. The Zj already has aftermarket track bars front and rear so the bracket wasn't even needed. Ill be addressing the rear shock mounts and side steps this coming week. I hope to cut the steps off and get the steel needed to weld up a set of minimalist sliders so i wont lose to much clearance. I wish I felt like cutting out the rockers and doing the rocker replacements like I did on my old Zj but with all the unibody issues I suffered on that one I'm keeping the cutting to a minimum on this one. there's still more to do but its becoming more trail ready with every little bit i get knocked out.

Nope still have it. I just had the front ring and pinion fixed after faulty install by a shop in Florida. I also picked up a 231 with hack and tap so I can get a better drive line angle. I have been in talks with Andy at ironman about his new ZJ 4 link and cross member setup. I hope to have that installed before GSW this year!

Been going over this for a bit. Bought some premium RRO sliders for it and a new 231 with hack and tap. I’m about to have a hp30 built and geared so my LP30 can be retired as it is making a ton of noise on decel and would need to be regeared. I also purchased a RTT for it and can’t wait to use it at Grand slam this year!! I also found a killer deal on 5 35” BFG KM2s so I’m taking the ATs and swapping them to the wife’s JK

I guess its time for an update so here it goes. I have completely pulled this apart to give it a few much needed upgrades. I am swapping in a new 231 with hack and tap, "built" LP30 4.56, arb air locker, sleeved, currie steering, currie UCA mounts, boxed upper and lower control arm mounts, along with a few other goodies. I have also pulled all the current long arms and will be replacing them with the new system from Andy at ironman4x4fab. The new setup is a single tri rear with a true 4 link front and a track bar. I will also be switching over to the fallen MT01 since I wasn't a big fan of the At's that were on it.

Tires are mounted up on the rims and now my ARB compressor has shown up. Now I just have to “patiently” wait on my new long arms to show up!

Been awhile since this was updated and its finally back on the trails and working as it should!

This Ironman4x4fab suspension is absolutely fantastic super predictable even in snow and ice on the trails here in Utah. I also managed to get some Raceline Monster Beadlocks on it so airing down is no longer an issue! I still have more I want to do but its finally getting there. I have plans for some rigid lighting, goose gear cargo storage, domestic or arb fridge, and perhaps a 44a arb to match the front.

Mild update. The Jeep is working awesome! I have swapped to Rare parts Inc ball joints and am in the process of doing the WJ steering swap.

Its nice to an expo build being used. Around my parts here RTT are the new light bars. Every douchbag has one and im not certain they have ever opened it.
