Has any one put 33x12.50s on a wj with only 2in lift I have 31s on it now and I just had to trim the stock bumper. If I trim the fenders I think they'll fit but haven't heard of any one running them planing on the 4in RC long arm kit in the near future but wanted to gear it and tires before 1500 dollar lift kit
First, not all 2" lifts are equal. Are you putting a 2" budget boost under some old saggy OEM springs or opting for a new set of lift springs and new spring isolators?
32's are doable with a 2" lift and fender/bumper trimming and relocation of th washer bottle and loosing the fog lights. Don't expect a lot of flex without rubbing.
33's would start to hit the back of the front fenders, and the front of the rear wheel wells. Taller bumb stops would minimize this.
In the end, the amount of bump stops and trimming would make the WJ a bit of a mall crawler, but it can be done.
Personally, I'd find a good set of JK takeoffs and do a 2.5" front, 2" rear, new spring lift. Trim and bumps top as needed.
I'm not afraid to cut up it has 2 in lift Springs and shock kit on it more worried about the back door u can only trim so much
A little late, but you can trim into the door and opening. It just gets a little more complicated.
2.5 with some trimming and 33x12.50/15
Because Jeep.
