I took these photos overlooking MOAB from the restaurant parking lot (perched into the side of a hill near the outskirts of town)
The roadway in the photos is Route 191 (Main Street, Moab)
The Sunset Grill is the former residence of the town's first inhabitant who founded and mined uranium ore.

internet time capsule, saw this while reading through the original thread.
Sal Sr. & Sal Jr. did the trip with me in their 2009 JKUR. I lost contact with them for a few years. Fast forward to 2016. We finished the trip last week.
