Ken L and I are meeting at the Fort at 8:30 tomorrow morning. Anybody else want to go?

How were the conditions? Looking for some good trails to run and camp on this weekend and thought this might work

Conditions were great. Quite a bit of water up there, but the trail was in good shape with no snow.

Awesome! Is it good enough to tent camp, maybe at the lake?

Conditions at the lake change pretty rapidly. It can be nice and 60 degrees, then 10 minutes later rainy and 40. We ran into a group that camped at the lake a couple of years ago. They could not wait to break camp and get down, they had storm after storm roll thru during the night. There's no cover, you're above tree line. There are plenty of nice spots to camp that can be found on the drive up though.

Not sure I would want to camp at the lake. Totally exposed and mosquito's are extremely bad this year.

I've camped up there a few times. No matter where you camp, it WILL rain. And rain a lot.
