So after 15 GSW's in Moab, it seems that some people may be getting tired of running the same old trails. And due to the excellent work of the Red Rock 4 Wheelers and other groups in the area more trails have been added to the approved EJS route list so we can expand the trails that we offer you guys at GSW.

Would you guys be interested in more of the difficult trails or some of the easier more scenic stuff? Any particular trails?

Can we get a night run added to the list? I know we've had impromptu night runs in the past but it would be nice to plan for one.

Where can we find the latest list of EJS approved trails?

Planning for a night run can be tough, if something happens to that trail leader's rig during the day it can throw the whole thing off. But we can definitely look at getting something a little more planned in for night runs.

RR4W looks like they're still updating their website to include all of the trails so I didn't link to it directly, but here's the link with what they have so far. http://www.rr4w.com/trails.cfm

Actually looking through that, it may up to date now. One I am looking forward to: http://www.rr4w.com/trail-details.cfm?trailid=72

That and people being on a trail all day and getting in town late. Having several short trails listed for a the day with the night run would help.

I would like to see more mild-mid trails added like hurrah pass or porcupine rim etc , that I am also willing to lead.
However I hope to add some more difficult trails to my list as well.

Looking at the Red Rock 4 Wheeler's Trails, I see Rusty Nail on the list.
It's been a while since I have done that trail.

I have been to Moab enough times now to see myself falling into the trap of repeating trails, however it is difficult to skip ones you have grown to love. That said, I will be repeating some of my favorites and I think I will try something new. For those of us willing to lead new trails, are GPS waypoints available?

If we do Flat Iron Mesa, I would suggest doing the cutoff to the overlook and then hit Tilt-a-Whirl as I think that is the first hard obstacle.

Well since I will be there in a totally stock WJ I am looking for some of the scenic 2 to 4 rated trails/roads and if I just must do a tougher trail, I will look for a ride with someone for that. I will get into Moab on June 11th and will be there until June 18 at least, but may add a couple more days before heading over to Colorado Springs for a week.

Hey, Ted, I just got home tonight from Houston with my new '14 WK2 Summit 3.0 TD that I'm bringing to GSW this year, so no worries, we're planning some nice trails for us.

Started updating the trail list and leader, still some finalizing to do, but it gives a good selection from easy to difficult ++. Something for everyone!

Looking forward to seeing you WKII Gary. We are a few years out though from ours.

Great Gary, I am looking forward to it after missing two years. If I could talk the wife into it I would head over there tomorrow..
