Kyle, Ken and I ran Red Cone on Saturday.

The Trail is in great shape for being open only a week. It was busy, but I have seen worse. I love this area because of the number of trails, but that also brings a lot of people. I was extremely pleased to see on a crazy holidy weekend that we did not see one person go off trail or do something stupid.

Webster going back towards 285 is going to be a few weeks yet. Largest snow field I have seen there and at the very top of the trail. Same with Radical Hill.

We took Webster into Montezuma and then Loveland Pass to I 70. There is where the trouble began. I70 was a stand still. Oh well. We left the house at 8AM and were back home by 5:30PM. 3hours of it was getting home.

The only carnage to speak of is my rear diff. I have a serious leak in one of the outer axle seals.. I filled it for good measure before we left and had to fill it again before heading up Loveland Pass.

Anyway, ANOTHER great day in the Rockies.

Well I know I deserved that, but thanks to Ken for saving my bacon and posting a couple pics. I didnt take any stills, just a couple videos of us going down the famosa cuesta abajo.
