Seems we always run into some assclowns up there, today was no different but we still had a good time. Things were documented, and the Ranger District will be receiving the documentation and hopefully tickets will be issued.

Was able to find some pics of the run posted on Facebook from the JK group, left this comment for them:

A lot of nice rigs, but I would have hoped that as a vendor who relies on trails being open to support your business you guys would've promoted a little more responsibility on proper trail usage among the members of your group yesterday. We witnessed several vehicles leaving the trail to get a "running start" at the snow pile just before the lake. Absolutely unnecessary, and it damaged a large area of fragile alpine tundra. There is already too much trail braiding between Bowling Ball Hill and the lake, we certainly don't need anymore. I don't know if it was any of your company's rigs that were off the trail, but I would've hoped that someone with such a vested interest in our sport would've informed the people in your group that what they were doing was absolutely wrong. If you want any trails to be open for your Trail Jeeps, please keep them on the trail and wheel responsibly. Also, blasting a train horn in the parking area is rude and disrespectful to other users of the area.

Wheeler Lake will always be one of my favorite trails. As for idiots on the trail affiliated with a business, on occasion we have to remind the Teraflex crew about treading lightly out here as well.
96 4.0 ZJ, 4.5in RE coils with Teraflex arms, Yukon gears, ARB front bumper, 33x12.50 M/TR's, homemade OBA setup....
