Hey guys,
Can someone point me to some factory shocks (that dont cost a fortune) that I can throw on my 98 ZJ on which Im doing about a 3.5 lift.
I thought I read that Ford F150 shocks of some yr. might work. I need for the front and the rear.
Any help would be great.
If you want cheap buy some Procomp 3000's and trade them in for free ones every time they blow.
Next time I measure for shocks I'll have to tell fox they're going on a ford instead of my jeep for a big discount
If only there were a tool that measured the length of my shocks so I could compare them to others at the junkyard....
I believe that napa can look up shocks by length to some extent I'm Using The rear shocks from a 99 f-150 in the front of my jeep. They allow for a good amount of drop and I think they can compress up to the stock bumps.
Or just stop being a cheapass and buy the proper shocks for that amount of lift......
Whose to say what's proper? Offroad shocks don't have to be all that specific. Oh and I want to add if you don't have bar pin eliminators you will need to install a bar pin in those f-150 shocks.
What has happened to Mallcrawlin?
OK guys...Im a cheap bastard....but ......I ordered the 3000 Procomps from 4wheelonline.com...for like $130 shipped.
They are nice, shipped fast and were cheap.
