Stock radiator crapped on me. I was looking for a csf all metal but everywhere I call says they're discontinued. I can find cheap aluminum ones on eBay but they look like garbage and crappy quality. I've been thinking about going with a 26x19 universal from Jegs or griffin but they have 3" tanks and from my measurements that puts it right on the power steering box. Is anyone running a radiator with bigger tanks? If not what are you running aftermarket wise? I've read the totm a bunch of times and pirates as well but the csf answer that's so common doesn't seem to be an option for the 5.9.

The only all-metal radiator I could find for my 93 was a Silla from (IIRC) Radiator Express. I even called some local radiator shops and none of them made "all metal" radiators. I haven't had any leaks. As I said in the TOTM, I just flat out could't justify $400+ for a radiator to cool an old worn out engine anyways...

Yeah I can't justify it either, $200 or slightly above that is my limit. Radiator express was out of the 1 all metal brand they stocked so that must of been it. Got my taxes back and need to get a new one in the jeep so I can drive it once this 44s done.

Ronnie I have been running a griffin for several years now and have been very happy. I know it's a different application but I would recommend their stuff.

Sorry for the derailment but are you heading up there with your Clemson crew? I should have the 44 wrapped soon and I've been having Harlan withdrawals as of late. Might try to head up for a day.

Yep as well as a few other clubs from South Carolina. Its the annual OffroadSC.com ride. There should be a ton of people to wheel with/watch. Yesterday I called every radiator website like radiators.com etc that I could find to try to find an all metal and no one has one in stock or they are discontinued. The search continues...

Last year when my all copper radiator sprung a leak I couldn't find a replacement for a decent price so I just had it soldered and cleaned for $90, better than new now.

Tony, do you know if these have the plastic side tanks or if they are all metal?

If you click the link and then click on the item it will bring up the product details describing size and materials.

I ended up getting an all aluminum one off eBay, one of the bolt ins. I had to trim my Efan shroud because the tanks are slightly larger but that's it. Really surprised with the quality of this, was expecting something not so good for pretty much the same price as a stock replacement.

Sorry Dave the forum didn't email me this question. Aluminum middle, plastic sides. I just put three of them in. Did my dad's and my 04 WJ and my 97 ZJ...we all lost our stock radiators within a month of each other....lol My WJ runs about 195 with it. I've had the truck with 41,000 on the ticker and it always ran at 210.

    They're good radiators. Tony
