Built this with a friend yesterday and thought I would share some pics of what we came up with. This is going to be a production rack in the near future.
Side profile
Pic from the top. Rack retains all sunroof function. Rails are placed full length for maximum storage. Front rail has 4 light tabs also.
I like it. Got any photos of the mounting spots?

looks pricey
looks dumb imo
I like it, looks clean.
I like it. Compact. Less likely to hit tree limbs, plenty of tie down locations. Nice work and thinking outside the box or rack in this case.
How much does it whistle going down the road?
How much taller is it than the factory one?
Sorry for the late reply. Have been very busy with work. 30in LED bar is on the way for the front of it.
Will get you some pics. It mounts to the factory rails in many locations
Will cost no more than a Kevins rack
Cool Max. I really dont care what you think you are a douche. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions
Thanks
That was the plan
Makes zero noise going down the road. Never put a tape on the factory one. This one is 5 3/4in from roof to the top of rack

What effect does it have on gas mileage? lol Just kidding Looks great cant wait to see it with an LED light bar on. Have you ever considered making affordable/compact tent base roof racks?
I like it but I feel the front needs some sort of a cross bar. Perhaps on top of the light bar.
I'm sure the LED bars are plenty sturdy, but I'm with Kraqa - there needs to be something at the very least above/behind the light bar for protection as well as a tie-down.
I have had the Surco rack for over 4 years and its held up great.
