I took a TNT customs D44 truss, trimmed a bit but it fits almost perfect under the D44A. Still need to weld it in and make a skid plate, but it is another option.
It reaches across from swaybar mount to mount.
Please let me know how I can get a set of these!!!
Are they ready now?
We're done perfecting the design and we're actually having a few more laser cut this week.

We're going to weld one to an axle later this week.

There will be a truss available soon for those with a 4-link suspension.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Well we went ahead and put in the D44A with an Aussie Locker
1-Kyle picked up a 44A with an Aussie and 3.73 gears. No brakes or shafts.
2-We used the shafts from the previous axle we had on hand.
3-used the brakes from his Dana 35.
Basically the swap went well. Removing the rotors was a major PITA. Hot wrenched them off and picked up two new rotors for 30.00 each. The brakes swapped right over after that but it took some time to figure out best way to install ebrake stuff as the springs were very tight.
After getting axle assembled the installation was pretty quick.
I am still planning on a skid for the bottom and depending on skid design perhaps a BTF diff cover.
Good part is the cost. Overall less than 300.oo so far.
