Kyle and I met Ken at the park n ride lot at I70 and Morrison Road exit on Sunday. We drove to Empire and ran Bill Moore Lake. I have not been there in a few years. We drove Kyle's WJ.

The trail still delivers mild to moderate wheeling. Especially in an open diff rig. We had no issues but enjoyed the ride. The lake and scenery was as beautiful as always.

We left Highlands Ranch at 8am and were back by 3pm.

It was another great day in the mountains as usual

    A couple of pictures:

The lake looks quite a bit lower than I remember it being.

It did seem pretty shallow. Since that was my first time there I have nothing to base it on, but there sure wasn't much water there.

It seemed about normal for mid August. It has always been a shallow lake.
