Features include:

• 1.5” x 1/8" wall tubing
• Tubing is bent numerically controlled
• Heavy duty rattle-free rotary slam latches using the factory striker
• Laser cut slotted latch plates for adjustment
• Only 22 lbs per front door & 20 lbs per rear door, making your WJ appox. 240 lbs lighter.
• 100% USA made
• 3/16" laser cut and slotted hinge mounting flange
• Shipped bare metal

For side mirrors, we recommend using TJ side mirrors (cheap on eBay) with our new brackets.

Are they hinged to open? I figured since you have the latch on there they are, I just don't see where the hinges are, unless they're behind the angle iron mount for the front.

yeah Dave the factory door hinges are left in place and bolted inside that angle iron, you can see the bolt heads or nuts facing the rear of the vehicle. These are awesome looking doors and have a great transition between the front and rear, lookin great man!

Cool, that's what I figured. I'm used to my tube doors where you can see the hinges on this are much cleaner.

Its a matter of perspective really, but an aluminum/sheet metal skin would look pretty good. The only downfall would be losing some visibility and air flow. Mesh netting would be another option, but wouldn't be nearly as durable as aluminum/steel/polycarb/etc on the trail.

the only visibility gain you get is on the passenger side, even then if you don't have some one riding shot gun i'm sure you could get someone to spot you.

You would lose a fair amount of visibility if the doors were skinned. Granted, it's not nearly as bad as having full doors, it's still much safer/easier than sticking your body out of the vehicle to get a view of an obstacle.

thats if your using the 4 point harness, if your using the stock seatbelt and it doesn't lock up on you, you can look out.

What does the stock WJ doors weigh? Both front and rear? I gotta put this fat bitch on a diet and this would help me boat side my rig and drop it down some more.

The stock front doors weigh 80 lbs each, and the rear doors weigh 70 lbs each. Each tube door is only 25 lbs, so a total of 200 lbs is saved. That's a good amount!
