These are our NEW Axle Trusses! They are made for both Heavier weight and Cruiserweight axles. Anything from a Toyota Mini on up. These are an evolved Truss, our previous trusses were plenty strong but with computer analysis we were able to determine this shape was stronger and also took up less space under the truck.
They are still a full Torsion Box construction with the "Shell" made from folded .25" sheet and the "Liner" made from .25 plate so there is no question as to the rigidity. They have always been made to be modified and that part has't changed because how the heck do I know the particulars of your build and how can I come out and say any one size is perfect for you?
These were considered after seeing another company try something like them but not boxed? The Torsion Box is where all the strength and rigidity comes from...I am thinking they did it that way because it was a less expensive option or they could not bend with precision...?
which one would i need for the sterling 10.25? Im not ready to buy one yet, im just doing my research and planning out the build. I didnt see the sterling listed in the descriptions, but i would assume i need the large truss.
I put one of these on a buddy's Sami/Buggy with Toy axles. I first looked at it like, "What the hell is this supposed to do"?. I like the full truss from as far right to as far left as I can get, but I gotta give it to Dan on this one. When you weld this thing up, it's a tough as a brick shit house! Great product that get's the job done. If you can weld, have 20 minutes, and don't want to spend all day putting a jig saw puzzle together (like some other trusses), this is nice.
Time to do it right!!
These were built to be strong !! And they are also a great way to mount your upper links.
When you want strong.. You want Ruffstuff !!
A truss you can trust!
