First, the most hardcore pic from the entire day:

    Yay for DD's!

Anyways, weird day up there. Lot of fun, but I have never seen that many tires up in the air with this group. On both major obstacles we had several very large wheelstands to near rollovers. Luckily everyone got through with no major damage, but I'm sure more than one person is picking pieces of their seats out of their arses tonight!

Keith going up the first obstacle

    Ken

    Tom

Scott just wasn't having a lot of luck driving by braille today. I think I heard him comment this was the first time in 3 years he had wheeled his ZJ in CO.

    Jim went right up

    Tyler wiggled his way through

    Justin

John hanging it out a bit

    Keith

Scott tried driving by braille again

Time to bring in a "pro"

    STOP! Camera time.

    Jim

    Tyler

    Verlan

Justin found it much easier once he had both front hubs locked

John crossing them up a bit

Seeing this crossing dry was a bit spooky. Ken even had his wipers in preparation for the normally 1.5' deep crossing.

We had a lot of struggles on bowling ball hill. Get a line figured out, then all the rocks move and have to start from scratch, but we made it to the top.

Coming back down Bowling Ball Hill

These flowers kept reminding me of electrical plugs

    Keith

Not sure how this JK made such a deep crossing.

Oh, there it is, he's got a snorkel!

Scott coming down. I was taking pictures and spotting, apparently something I shouldn't do anymore, lol. Scott's left rear came WAAAAAY up. Apparently it didn't matter if he was driving by braille or had a spotter, he was bound to have an interesting day.

Jim made it fine, seemed to mostly impact the taller rigs

    Tyler

Same thing happened to Verlan that happened to Scott. Hard to see here, but the left rear is a good 5' from terra firma.

Same thing happened to Justin, but he got through it before we could get a pic

For some reason people kept wanting me to spot them today . . .

Managed to get John down pretty smoothly though.

    The End.

Had a great time up there even though the Jeep was at home on jackstands. Thanks to K2 for letting me ride along, and the others for letting me hitch a ride here and there and then try to put them on their side!

    Nice Pics Dave,

Kyle and I had a blast. Definately one of my favorite trails. I will try and post some pic links on Thursday when I get back from Iowa.

Tell Kyle to put down the book and get the pics! I remember him saying he has over 1000 from GSW, and he took a bunch this weekend. Whip him into shape!!

LOL, no kidding. I will point him to your post too, to keep the pressure up on him. Again he gets in trouble for reading too much.

Didn't feel right letting you guys get all the wheelstands in so I went back up there today and did a few of my own.

    Nice,

I want to run Wheeler again this summer. Sans the camera.

Just need to replace my radiator first.

So would I, that's a great trail. Hopefully I won't have a disaster going up Bowling Ball hill this time. No more worn out 10 year old MTR's for me.
